Direct answer
A POS reseller needs more than a margin sheet. Confirm who installs devices, trains cashiers, handles outages, owns merchant data and supports the approved fiscal route. Put these responsibilities in writing before selling to a shop.

Define support ownership
When a printer stops or stock totals disagree, the merchant will contact the local partner first. Agree what the partner can fix, what the software vendor handles and how issues are escalated. Test that process during a pilot.
Check the commercial details
Ask about licence scope, hardware compatibility, upgrades, branding rights and what happens if the partnership ends. Do not advertise white-label rights or recurring revenue terms until they are agreed for the specific contract.
Be exact about E-VAT
A reseller should not call EazSell GRA-certified without proof for the exact version and deployment. The partner can help plan and validate the Ghana integration path with the merchant and GRA.
What to check before you decide
- Assign installation and first-line support.
- Confirm data export and contract terms.
- Approve all fiscal claims before publishing them.
