Direct answer
First confirm VAT status and contact the relevant GRA Taxpayer Service Center. Then identify the invoicing route, devices, product tax data and staff workflow. Do not treat a POS vendor's demo as formal onboarding.

Start at the Taxpayer Service Center
GRA directs businesses to write to their Taxpayer Service Center to request E-VAT. The center guides installation. Ask which route applies, who will attend the setup and what records or access are needed before scheduling it.
Prepare usable data
Clean up products, prices and tax classes in the POS. Identify how cashier shifts, returns, discounts and customer details are recorded. It is cheaper to settle ambiguous data before connecting a fiscal system than to repair thousands of bad receipts later.
Run acceptance tests
A normal sale is the first test, not the last. Include rejected data, a network interruption, reprints, refunds and the end-of-day report. Record the document IDs and receipts so the implementer can explain what happened.
What to check before you decide
- Confirm the GRA contact and chosen E-VAT route.
- Prepare a product and tax-class sample.
- Assign one person to approve test receipts and staff training.
Questions people ask
Who installs the E-VAT option?
GRA says its experts install either of its published E-VAT options, based on the beneficiary business's choice.
